A Sunny Sunday

Balloon Flowers....

Sitting 3 in a row on the big table....

African Daisy on the small table in the suntrap, along with Cookie-the-Cat....

The Agapanthus getting green & full, ready to produce stunning architectural blooms....

Sweet peas climbing....

Herb pots started....

New beds planted....

Old ones tamed....

Delicate trailing verbena....

Miniature petunia's....

Simple white planting either side of the back door....

The first of the little people's strawberries....

Mange tout growing steadily....

Finally, two weeks after sorting....

Sewing....

Covering....

And protecting....

The first pea shoots have appeared....

Time to relax with cloudy lemonade....

Pear Cider.....

And pudding outside in your pyjama's....

Hope everyone has had a lovely sunny Sunday

Love Lydia xx

  7. Agapanthus is one of my all time favorites - I seem to adore blue flowers. I love the real giant ones that you get in the Channel Islands. How sweet does your little girl look! Pour me a cider, i'll be round in a mo. xxx

  8. Wow, you have definitely proved me what I suspected already: I haven't got green finger at all! I was so proud of my lilies that showed me their colours before dying this year... Beautiful garden!

  10. I tried that pear cider recently. I thought it was going to be really 'peary' but it was so delicate that I really enjoyed it, and I am NOT a cider drinker. Not since an 'incident' in my teens! ha ha ha.

Just wanted to leave a pawprint and wish you a lovely summer. :O) xx
