Yesterday was my 10th Wedding Anniversary.
I can report that I spent most of the day, wondering '10 years, how did that happen?' (& the occasional grumpy thought of 'I've been stuck with him for 10 years') Oh, how the years seem to have flown....
G sent a nice tasteful card. Me? - stuck for a card that said 10th Anniversary, I opted to sum up my sentiments using two cards....
Ten years should be celebrated with Tin.
However G was far more generous, and celebrated it with Silver - he also brought me the 2 rings to complete the set - I am just awaiting the slightly 'larger' sizes to arrive....
If anybody reading this lives near Chesterfield, do pop in and looks at M's Gallery if you are needing something a little special. Her shop is in Theatre Yard, and is a real treat. I particularly like M's as the owner (M) is only young, very friendly and working very hard, up against the big shops.
Snapdragon is holding a giveaway of 100 of her handmade badges - in return she is asking that you send her a photo of you wearing her badge, or doing something inspiring with it....
Off to find some inspiration....
On a final lovely note, I received this yesterday, my badge from Snapdragon (sorry I can't link yet, but you can find her through Mandy on Live, Laugh, Love).

ReplyDeleteBelated congratulations on your anniversary. Our 7th is next Monday (the 15th) - so does this mean we have ended out so-called 'itchy years' or is the next year the 'itchy year'? That is the question.... xx

Hi, I'm a new visitor to your very lovely blog.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary, you got some very pretty jewellery from your husband.
I hope your new job is going well.
I had one of those cupcake badges from Jane, but unfortunately lost it off the front of my jacket on Sunday when out with the children.
Have you given up the crochet?
I'm trying to learn, but getting nowhere.
Take care
Lisa
